Who We Are

The Northside High School Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) exists to strengthen the partnership between families, teachers, staff, and students so that every Viking can thrive. We are a volunteer-driven community that supports the whole school — in the classroom, on the field, on the stage, and beyond.

Our members raise funds for teacher grants and classroom needs, celebrate and support our staff, cheer on our students at events, run the concession stand and spirit shop, and create opportunities for families to get involved in the life of the school. Every dollar we raise and every hour we volunteer goes right back to Northside students and staff.

Whether you can give an hour a year or an hour a week, there is a place for you here. Join us, get involved, and help us make Northside the best it can be. Go Vikings!

The Northside High School PTSO has supported Northside families for years as a volunteer parent, teacher, and student organization. For most of that time the group ran the way many school parent organizations do — with paper membership forms, binders, in-person meetings, and word of mouth, along with an active presence on Facebook and Instagram where families follow our events throughout the school year.

In 2026 the PTSO established this website — our first — to modernize how we operate: to make membership easier, to be transparent about who we are and how funds are used, and to give every Northside family a single place to find information and get involved. We are volunteers building lasting infrastructure for an organization that has served this school community for years.
